If you want to honor a veteran this weekend, you've got options on both sides of the river. Omaha lit up Memorial Park Thursday night for its Veterans Shine On ceremony. Eric Ewing, Mayor John Ewing Jr.'s brother, gave the keynote, and WOWT reports he served 20 years in the Navy. The mayor also spoke to the crowd.
