- ➤ Former Lincoln Mayor and Council Bluffs native Coleen Seng, known for her personal warmth and long public service — serving as mayor from 2003 to 2007 and as a city council member for 16 years — died Monday surrounded by her family at age 89. KETV
- ➤ Pottawattamie County launched a warm clothing drive yesterday — the Wellness Committee asked residents to donate new or gently used coats, hats, gloves, and other winter essentials to help neighbors facing hardship. - ➤ The Iowa Finance Authority gave over $333,000 to two Council Bluffs homeless shelters as part of a statewide grant program that distributed more than $5.7 million to help those facing homelessness + improve support services. The Daily Nonpareil
