- ➤ Council Bluffs’ Pottawattamie County Roads Operation Center was honored with MidAmerican Energy’s 2025 Excellence in Energy-Efficient Design Award for achieving 62% energy savings in an $8.8 million project. The facility, built in collaboration with HGM Associates Inc. and Engineering Technologies, Inc., includes an office and meeting space and a vehicle maintenance studio—showing the county’s strong focus on sustainable design.
