- ➤ New SNAP rules enforced Monday stopped food aid for refugees and asylum seekers, leaving many families in need since over 90% of those helped by African Immigrant Family Services rely on the program — Adamma Sawadogo said. The nonprofit made a French video to explain the changes and is asking local residents for more help as food pantry demand grows. KETV

- ➤ Tonight, clear skies and light winds will let temperatures drop to the low-to-mid 30s — a sign that frost may occur in eastern Nebraska and western Iowa on Wednesday morning — and similar cool weather is expected early Thursday. KETV
