TS Bank donated $25,000 to support the Spirit of Westfair capital campaign at the fairgrounds & amphitheater.

The donation brings the project closer to its multimillion-dollar goal.

Union at Bluffs Run is a new apartment complex offering income-based rent for households at or below 60 percent of the median, and it is already 70-percent leased in Council Bluffs.

Mayor Shudak said the project is key to easing the city’s tight housing market.

Officials and developers cut the ribbon on the 192 unit Union at Bluffs Run on South 19th Street; the $58 million project will offer one, two and three bedroom apartments to tenants at or below 60% of median income, a community gift + boost for affordable housing.
