GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ On Saturday, Sept. 27, the Council Bluffs Area Chamber in partnership with The Nonpareil hosted a mayoral candidate forum at Abraham Lincoln High School where five of six candidates answered questions on housing, homelessness and government issues and more than 80 locals attended — a similar forum for city council candidates is scheduled for Saturday at 9 a.m. ahead of the primary on Oct. 7.
