Pottawattamie County Conservation begins selling Crescent Hill at Hitchcock season passes today – passes are available online with county residents receiving a 25% discount and prices rising monthly until December.

West Central Community Action in Council Bluffs will start taking LIHEAP applications on Nov.
1 for the 2025-26 program at its Omni Centre Business Park office—households with an elderly or disabled member may apply from Oct. 1 by appointment.
The Omaha-Council Bluffs Metropolitan Area Planning Agency is asking for public comments on its Draft 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan that includes projects in Council Bluffs and other local areas.
A public meeting will be held Sept. 18 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.—comments will be accepted until Sept. 24.
