- ➤ Omaha police are investigating cemetery thefts after councilman Ron Hug reported his parents’ missing vase and learned that similar incidents have spread across the metro—with some stolen items traced to a salvage yard in Council Bluffs, officials urge anyone with a report to file a police report. - ➤ An Arkansas man was sentenced to 2 years and 7 months in prison for a crash last year that killed 82-year-old bicyclist Larry Covalciuc near Valentine on Highway 20—he drove a black Dodge pickup according to court documents. KETV
