- ➤ A 22-year-old woman was arrested on Monday after firing at least two shots from her handgun during an argument near 37th and John streets—one shot hit a house while the other struck a vehicle, and police said no one was hurt. WOWT
- ➤ Authorities arrested 34-year-old Winston Leal for first-degree murder after a fight in Earling ended with Theresa Kenkel being fatally shot, with Leal claiming Kenkel shot herself while he and Ashley McWilliams drove to Council Bluffs to report the incident — a judge later set McWilliams on a $50,000 bond for an accessory charge.
