- ➤ In Auburn, the Armintrout family now runs a garden stand that honors Andrew—a 12-year-old who died with his father Alvin in a May 8 car accident on their way home from the Council Bluffs Farmers Market—with all sales going toward a memorial scholarship for his sixth grade class set to graduate in 2031. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Council Bluffs police said a 19 year old turned himself in at Pottawattamie County Jail for a hit and run crash on July 9 at a gas station parking lot that left a 68 year old man critically injured—he now faces both felony and misdemeanor charges. KETV
- ➤ Council Bluffs police are investigating a death in Harrah's Casino's parking garage—first responders arrived after a report of a man down—and police do not suspect foul play while urging anyone with information to call 712-328-4728. KETV
