- ➤ Council Bluffs police arrested 53-year-old Laura Timberlake-Sweeney—accused of waiting over 24 hours to call 911 after Rodney Campbell was found slumped over in his car—and she now faces charges of failure to assist resulting in death and fifth-degree theft. KETV

- ➤ Tomorrow, Music at Miller Park will host a free 90-minute concert featuring R&B and Soul performer Enjoli Mitchell from Enjoli and Timeless. The park will open at 5:00 p.m., an opener will begin at 6:30 p.m., and the band will perform from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. KETV

- ➤ Metropolitan Community College broke ground today on a 144-acre campus in Sarpy County that will mix academic spaces with retail, dining, and housing + serve as its first permanent center since 1980 near seven high schools. Leaders said the campus will offer classes in hospitality, diesel technology, supply chain logistics, and restaurant leadership. KETV
