- ➤ A federal judge in Iowa blocked parts of a Biden rule that required nursing homes to have a nurse on-site 24/7 (3.48 hours of care per resident) after saying the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) did not have the authority to enforce the rule.
