- ➤ Carter Lake police said a shots-fired incident occurred on May 2 at Mabrey Park when officers responded to a call reporting 20 to 30 gunshots fired at a crowd of about 50 people; no injuries were reported although property was damaged, with investigators recovering 71 shell casings and a bullet lodged in a nearby home—residents along Holiday Drive between 13th Street and Dorene Boulevard are asked to call with any information.
