- ➤ Ameristar Casino said it will invest up to $200 million — a plan that will add over 1,000 jobs — to build a new land-based casino in Council Bluffs that will be known as Hollywood Casino Council Bluffs. - ➤ Council Bluffs man Justin Sickler pleaded guilty on amended charges in the death of 28-year-old Brianne McIntosh — who was reported missing in December and found dead in rural Fremont County in February — and he was sentenced to 45 years in prison. KETV
