  • Meteorologist Luke Vickery reported from Fairmount Park that county educator Geré Stevens said local foragers should search wooded areas for morel mushrooms after spring rain + warm soil, advising them to use a foraging guide and bug spray for safety.   • A redevelopment project in Council Bluffs will replace two long-closed retail buildings at the Lake Manawa Power Center with three national stores—HomeGoods, Ross Dress for Less, and Sierra Trading.
