EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Students from the Iowa School for the Deaf and Lewis Central High School will collaborate on 'Into the Woods' from April 4th to 6th, making history by sharing a stage and providing interpreters for all three shows. - ➤ A bill that bans cellphone use while driving is headed to Gov. Kim Reynolds’ desk after the Iowa House passed Senate File 22 in an 84—11 vote yesterday. The law expands texting and driving rules to cover all electronic device use except for hands-free or driving mode—if a driver is caught, a fine of up to $100 may be imposed. KETV

- ➤ Iowa Medicaid collection agents sent letters asking for over $4 million from the estates of two people who died after living at the Glenwood Resource Center—one letter went to Joy Higgins after her daughter died last May.
