Storytime

About this event

Join us for engaging storytime sessions at the Omaha Public Library, where children of all ages can experience stories, creative movement, music, and more! Our storytimes focus on developing early literacy skills through singing, playing, reading, talking, and writing. We offer different formats, including Baby Storytime for ages 0 to 15 months, and a bilingual "Hora de Cuentos" featuring stories and activities in both English and Spanish. All storytimes are tailored to the age of the children present, and childcare groups larger than 10 should call in advance. All library locations are wheelchair accessible, and accommodations for sign language interpretation or other accessibility needs can be requested by emailing Nancy Novotny at at least five business days prior to the event. Come explore and enjoy the joy of storytelling with us!
