Winter Garland Workshop

About this event

Celebrate the beauty of the season with a handcrafted garland made from all-natural materials. In this seasonal class, create a stunning six-foot winter garland featuring dried orange slices, cinnamon sticks, whole nutmegs, wooden beads, and star anise. Each element is thoughtfully selected to highlight the textures, colors, and scents of nature. All materials are compostable, with some elements enhanced using natural dyes. Your finished garland can be displayed in a variety of ways—draped across a mantle, hung vertically as a seasonal accent, or used as a beautiful table runner.

For allergen information or questions about the class, please email m.burianek@omahabotanicalgardens.org.
