Community Blood Drive

Help save lives by donating blood at the Pottawattamie County Blood Drive in partnership with the American Red Cross. Blood donations are essential for patients undergoing surgery, cancer treatment, trauma care, and other medical emergencies. Just one donation can help save up to three lives. The blood drive will take place in the training room on the main floor of the Public Health building. Parking is available on the south side of the building. Appointments are encouraged and can be scheduled through the American Red Cross using sponsor code pottcounty at RedCrossBlood.org or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767). Donors should bring a photo ID and be sure to eat a healthy meal and stay hydrated before donating. Join us in making a difference for patients and families in our community and across the region.
