Meet a Musician Storytime

About this event

Get ready to make your mark. A violinist from the Omaha Symphony creates a musical adventure filled with imagination, emotion, and creativity. Kids will enjoy a lively reading of The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds, then dive into the world of the violin—hearing it, feeling it, and exploring how music helps us express every color of emotion. This story time is best for kids age 2-5, but all are welcome. Experience stories, creative movement, music and more. Explore the early literacy skills of singing, playing, reading, talking and writing in each storytime. All Omaha Public Library locations are wheelchair accessible. Need sign language interpretation or other accessibility assistance for this event? Please email Nancy Novotny at to request accommodation. Requests must be made at least five business days before the activity or event.
